Parents at AISF fill out confidential questionnaires assessing the school's programs. The following aspects of the school were given the highest ratings in a recent survey:
- Moral and ethical development of the students
- Quality of the elementary curriculum
- Teacher-student working relations
- Opportunity for parent involvement
- Parent contact with teachers
- Promoting student self-esteem
- Maintaining a loving, family atmosphere
- Overall performance and dedication of staff
The following were among the major commendations of AISF listed in their final report by the MSA validation team who visited AISF May 1-5, 2005:
Courageous faculty who have demonstrated a willingness to face challenges and to be open to new approaches and critical thinking
Open exchange of ideas and responsiveness to feedback among all members of the AISF community, fostering a spirit of collaboration
Shared vision of the Board and their use of the mission statement to guide decision-making
Willingness of parents and faculty to serve in so many capacities, which contributes to the overall family atmosphere of AISF
Board's willingness to shift their thinking from short term operational planning to long-term strategic planning
Dedicated spirit of service among the faculty and administration at AISF.
